Goal Setting
You would not go on a road trip unless you had called up the directions on your phone.
You would not prepare a Thanksgiving side-dish without the recipe.
Goals provide direction, a sense of accomplishment and
they define your growth and development.
Consider these 4 Questions before writing your own goals.
1. Why do I want it? Define the desire or challenge facing you.
2. What do I want? Write down the goal you want to achieve.
3. How do I get it? Your specific action plan to reach your goal.
4. When do I want it? The completion date to reach your goal.

Goals should be straightforward and emphasize what you want to happen. Specifics help us to focus our efforts and clearly define what we are going to do. Learn how to set SMART Goals.
S = Specific
M = Measurable
A = Attainable
R = Realistic
T = Timely
Consider a goal for the rest of the school year. Maybe this is an academic goal or a goal related to your involvement here at PHS?
Next consider a goal for your life between now and graduation from High School.
Finally, consider a goal for 5 years after graduation.
Let's practice!
