Warming up to Cold Calls
Lesson 6 of Roadtrip Nation
Go to the Roadtripnation.org website and log in.
You will be learning about how to make a cold call. The best tip is to practice! Take the time to write down the Leader's name, title, and company. Know your schedule. Be ready to leave a voice mail.
Watch the video that previews this lesson as you prepare to make your first call. You can complete the tasks found on page 68-69 of your Field Guide. This is not a requirement.
In your Field Guide complete page 70 to help you warm up to what you could possibly say. Rehearse these lines so you sound natural, excited, and like yourself. You don't want to sound like a robot reading from a script if you can help this.
PRE-THOUGHTS: These are your ideas prior to the experience. Record your pre-thoughts about interviewing a LEADER on page 72 of the Field Guide.
